Learning is Fun

Today I learned about a lot of things, I learned that I am interested in investing and I am looking opportunities to do so, l learned that life has so much to offer in today's era that one will be only overwhelmed at the amount of stuff there and need to be very very careful in one's choices as the amount of data we've at our disposal has not proportionately augmented by the amount of time we've.

I learned that re-inforcing the same things with the different people around the world fills you with great energy and inspiration.

I learned while calling "Loan Guy" that preparation ahead of time fills you with extra confidence and gives you the option to explore new avenues.

I learned that 'referring to a second choice' is always something we should do in lives, a second opinion is always better than relying on only one source and want to do it.

And I learned that having a new food everyday fills you with wonderful thoughts and how the moong daal cheela helped me in arranging my thoughts.

I also learned that how 'speaking' in a world of strangers always helps howsoever disengaging and formal an interaction could be. I realized Jeenal's attitude completely changed in MUN sessions on the last day when she spoke, her proposal was unanimously accepted and she came out cheering about her chairs and the sessions. Such wonderful opportunities didn't use to exist in our times and even their thought or names used to exhilarate us and we used to see somebody mentioning that as a matter of inferiority for us.

In fact, I worried myself a bit about the future education of Jeenal as well as it might require a 100 K per annum for at least 4 years and the time is not very far. But as always the almighty has shown the way before closing the doors, my bright chap will also go and fulfill all her dreams and none will remain unfulfilled in lack of funds.

Net in Net a good day of learning and seemingly ordinary but mentally a very powerful break from the office with which I need to connect strongly tomorrow as what I do tomorrow could change my future for good.

Reaching at settlement with myself

With heavy lifting needed for dissertation and insurmountable amount of work piling up I  office and no good news in offing,  life used to seem heavy suddenly during last week  morning sucked and evening  seemed tired. 

But 2 days of weeend refreshed me. I guess the best part was giving time to dissertation ( although has moved only an inch forward) and completing some back logs for data storage and other things. Besides TV went off which was a good news as TV wasted a lot of time I guess and should be shunned by me. 

Time went to kids and wife which should be the best thing in the world,  although miles to go. 

Hot Day Heavy Heart

It is inevitable to face a peak point of stress in corporate job on the day of target, deadline,  or a management closure of things.

Today was one of those wonderful day where I was able to fulfill my commitment to myself on all aspects. 

Such days are a marvel. Majority of this could happen due to a strong determination and long hours execution. So no doubt determination is the first step. However it also meant : 

1. Items were marked to others and they reach out to make sure it happens. 

2. Items were slotted within four pillars and a  break in between. Demand, Mgmt Deck, Strategy and country calls. 

3. Noises were not handled, e.g.  E-mails were checked in the last which sets priority for tommorow. 

4. Networking was slotted in lunch or coffee break which provides immense support. 

Same will be followed tommorow.

The feeling of being in space is always unimaginable and and always fascinating.  Sometime after seeing space in reality makes you believe that what we are doing is so very earthly and so very dull. 

However , I guess drive is like that, creating a vision of what you want and let that drive you till the end. 

Sergey raznavisky did the same to me today, he created an inspiration for me and for all of us who were present in FINTECH festival on 13th November.

Thank you Sergey for pursuing your dream and letting us believe we should pursue ours , in our mind first and then in reality.

Singapore FINTECH Festival taught many things but one thing which prominently stats in heart is : 

1. Any new idea entails a risk , whether its within established corporates or starting the shop under a banyan tree. The framework within which you face the risk might be different though but situation net net remains stressful both ways. 

2. Risk tolerance and innovation are inversely proportional and hence more innovative you have to be , keeping all other factors common , you should have nothing to lose.  

3. Life is cyclic, its strange to see those who operates offline are not the only going online but other way around is also true,  amazon has started offline and also any other biggies. 

Happy Birthday - Deepu

Virat Kohli , wished a 15 year old himself , happy Birthday and that inspires me to do this with my past. 

Happy Birthday Deepu, a bright child who can't stand straight but talks straight standing in front of 50 folks , in assembly while campaigning or with her favourite principal mam. 

Life has taken many turns for you since then, it has been a roller coaster in last 27 years and not sure you imagined it this way.  

Your imagination never tan behind staying in a refurbished raipur house and sitting in a cabin with a suite and a tie, with a 50k salary. 

Well top 2 wishes hasn't been fulfilled, life has given sweeter moments and adoring peoples all around to catch you and lift you high. 

Your goodness has paid off in many good ways. You make simple and beautiful friends wherever you go around and one unintentional act done today helps you in reaping benefits few years later. It has always helped, invariably as if God want to reward you for every single good act you did , without punishing you for every wrong ( may be 1 punishment here and there for 100 wrong things but nothing beyond). 

I want to remind you maintain this cleanliness , remember you are son of a pious mother, as there are heights to cover and miles to go. 

I love you Deepu and please be yourself for me to shower you love always.
